Happy Tuesday, guys! How is it that we're halfway through August already?! This summer has been flyinggg by. This weekend was pretty relaxing yet productive. I stayed in the city and mostly laid low with the boo, finally took new blog pics, and then caught some rays while lounging in Central Park on Sunday - a perfect way for me to recharge before a new week!
For my outfit this week I'm rocking a pea colored jumpsuit with a halter neckline and plunging open back. I LOVE an open back, and this jumper doesn't disappoint - it's so sultry, yet tasteful at the same time. This little number is super light, which makes it perfect for a hot summer day or night. I decided to pair it with my sneaks for a casual feel, but you can easily wear this with a pair of heels for more of a nighttime look. I also plan to wear this into the fall with a leather jacket and platform wedge ankle boots - one of my favorite things about jumpsuits is how versatile they can be.
For accessories I'm wearing my Michael Kors tortoise shell watch, Illesteva sunnies, and Louis Vuitton Speedy bag. If you've been following my blog for some time, you know I'm all about affordable pieces and truly believe you don't have to spend a lot of money on your clothes to look great and be fashionable, but when it comes to accessories I occasionally make exceptions. I never spend exorbitant amounts of money on clothing because, one, clothes go out of style and, two, I don't usually wear the same piece enough times to justify the cost. However, things I wear every day like sunglasses, watches, and handbags, I will occasionally splurge on because I know I'll get a lot of use out of them. Also, many designer pieces are timeless so they will always be in style!
Jump around, jump around, jump up, jump up and get dowwwwn
(sorry - the 90's kid in me just couldn't resist!)
