Holiday Glam
/I like large parties. They’re so intimate. At small parties there isn’t any privacy.
Happy Holidays, my loves!
Between today, and the first day of 2017, I'm sure your calendar is full of all the holiday gatherings and New Year's Eve parties you'll be attending, so today's post is dedicated to serving up some holiday glam for the festivities! Not only do I love a good party, but I love any excuse to dress up, especially when it comes to putting on my Holiday/NYE's best. I meannnn, my middle school/high school AIM screenname wasn't GLaMoUrGrL318 for nothing! But I digress.
For a high end glam piece, at a fraction of the price, I recommend Rent the Runway. Because who really wants to splurge on a gown after emptying their wallets on holiday shopping? Not this girl! This gorgeous, emerald, silk wrap dress I'm featuring is available at RTR and is absolutely perfect for a fancy holiday party. The rich, emerald color of this dress is what initially drew me to it, and the fabric and cut is what sold me. I've set up links to this exact look at the bottom of this post, in case you're sold too! I also curated a bunch of links to other dresses I recommend, in case you're in need of some last minute holiday outfit shopping assistance.
Now that we've talked holiday glam, parties, and outfits, I have one last piece of advice: don't let the holidays put you in a holidaze. The decorating, the shopping, the wrapping, the parties - it's enough to make anyone crazy. Make an effort to slow down and remind yourself to enjoy it all. The holidays tend to bring people together with all their different communities - family, friends, co-workers. Enjoy the people you've chosen to spend your precious time with. Be grateful for them. Clink glasses with them. Laugh with them. Because that is what it's really all about.
Here's to a very Merry Christmakwanzakah, and a happy and healthy New Year!
xx
